The Headless Horseman of Washington Irving's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow thundering past on his black steed, jack-o'-lantern held high, autumn leaves and a bat swirling in his wake — illustrated as a vintage Victorian scrap on warm tea-stained parchment.
Spooky but cozy, it sits equally well on a Halloween mantel, a dark-academia desk or a gothic gallery wall, and it stays up long after October ends.
What size is this print?
10x8 inches, landscape — a standard frame size, so it fits any off-the-shelf 8x10 frame turned sideways with no custom framing or trimming needed.
Does it come framed?
No, the print ships unframed so you can match your own decor. It arrives flat in a rigid protective mailer, never rolled or folded.
Who is this print for?
Halloween and fall decorators, fans of classic American gothic literature, English teachers and librarians, and anyone who loves vintage spooky art.
