A lyric canvas is gallery-wrapped fabric stretched on wooden bars — ready to hang straight out of the box. A lyric print is paper-based and needs separate framing. Canvas is heavier, more dimensional, and ships hang-ready; print is flatter, lighter, and needs a frame purchase to be wall-ready.

The physical difference

Canvas: a tightly woven fabric, stretched on 1.5" wooden gallery bars, finished with a UV-protective sealant. Has visible weave texture. Comes ready to hang.

Print: archival paper — typically matte or satin — produced flat in a sleeve or tube. Requires a separately purchased frame and mat.

How they look on a wall

Canvas reads as gallery art: dimensional, with the lyrics living in the fabric weave. Light hits the texture from any angle. Print reads as graphic design: flat, crisp typography, sharper lines, but visually "behind glass." Both look good — different aesthetics.

Durability

Canvas wins long-term. UV-resistant pigment inks rated 100+ years. No glass to break. No mat to yellow. Print under glass can last decades but the glass itself is the failure point in moves and shipping.
